Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Burlingame and St. John's/Tipton Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Burlingame had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blujays. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 6-22. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-10.

Burlingame didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Frankfort on the 21st. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sylvan-Lucas on the 21st.
