Basketball Recap: Crandall Takes a Loss

After flying high against Terrell last Tuesday, Crandall came back down to earth. The Crandall Pirates were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 65-64 to the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars.

Crandall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Midlothian Heritage, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

After both having extra time off, Crandall and Kaufman will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Midlothian Heritage, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars duke it out with the Terrell Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
