Football Recap: Madison Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Madison came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the St. Augustine Saints and fell 41-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Warhawks were not able to get on the board.

Isaac Logo Diaz threw for 47 yards on nine of 14 attempts. On the ground, Adrian Sola rushed for 44 yards.

Paisios Polamalu continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Augustine, rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, Polamalu is now averaging an impressive 100.7 rushing yards per game. Vince Smith was another key player, throwing for 96 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven passes.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Augustine, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Coming up, Madison will head out to face off against University City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Sola and Deshaun Hille. As for St. Augustine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavers' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Saints' offense will have their work cut out for them.
