Baseball Recap: SouthLake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

SouthLake Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

SouthLake Christian Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Drayton, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Drayton a new career-high in hits.

SouthLake Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SouthLake Christian Academy will challenge Hickory Grove Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
