Volleyball Recap: Onaga's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Onaga had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Frankfort Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Monday.

Onaga easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.

Lauryn Marten paced Onaga's offense, picking up eight kills. Marten got some help from Abbie Ringel and her 22 assists. Ringel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Onaga's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Frankfort, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Onaga and Frankfort will both be playing Cair Paravel the next time they take the court. The Buffaloes will head out to face the Lions at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
