Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista Takes a Loss

Chula Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the San Ysidro Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Chula Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for San Ysidro, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

Coincidentally, Chula Vista and San Ysidro will both be playing Mar Vista the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Mariners at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cougars will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
