Virginia Episcopal School came out on top against Eastern Mennonite on Friday thanks in part to Jack Powers's efforts. Powers almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards, which was good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set on December 4th, 2024, when he posted seven points (Gamescore: 12.4 vs. 8.9).

Coming up, Powers and Virginia Episcopal School will venture away from home to take on Hargrave Military Academy on Tuesday. The game will pit Powers up against the Tigers' star small forward Teshawn Ricks.
