While Chester-Seward's victory against Dover wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hambletonians had just enough and edged out the Dragons 28-25. The win continues a trend for the Hambletonians in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Dover still got an impressive performance from Conor Drnek, who threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 75 yards on only ten carries. Another player making a difference was Matt Ogana, who picked up 72 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Chester-Seward's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dover, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Chester-Seward will be playing in front of their home fans against Spackenkill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dover, they will venture away from home to square off against Saugerties at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
