Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ankeny Centennial). They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Urbandale J-Hawks on Wednesday. Give Ankeny Centennial's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Urbandale from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ava Martin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Ankeny Centennial pushed their record up to 17-3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matchups. As for Urbandale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16-1 record this season.
