Football Game Preview: Blythewood vs. Sumter

Sumter have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be playing at home against Blythewood at at 7:30 PM on Friday. Sumter have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Blythewood might have their hands full.

Sumter put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They were fully in charge, breezing past Lugoff-Elgin 45-0. Senior Ontra' Harvin was the offensive standout of the match for Sumter, as he passed for 257 yards and 4 touchdowns. Harvin has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.

Meanwhile, Blythewood might be getting used to good results now that the team have four wins in a row. They were able to grind out a solid win over Irmo last Friday, winning 21-14.

Their wins bumped Blythewood to 5-1 and Sumter to 6-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Blythewood and Sumter clash.
