Baseball Recap: Pequea Valley Find Success

While Pequea Valley's victory against Biglerville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Braves had just enough and edged out the Canners 2-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Logan Zynn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Pequea Valley is 6-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Pequea Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Graham, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Pequea Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Biglerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Pequea Valley nor Biglerville have any future games scheduled.
