Football Game Preview: Marshall Bobcats vs. Corning Bobcats

Marshall will head out on the road to challenge Corning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Marshall is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Rose Bud, who was ranked 15th at the time (Marshall was ranked ninth). The Bobcats blew past the Ramblers, posting a 64-36 win. That looming 64-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bobcats yet this season.

Meanwhile, Corning put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 44-12 victory over Cave City. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won six games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Corning, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
