Volleyball Recap: Ontario Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Ontario, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marion Harding Presidents on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

One reason for the win was Ontario's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-10.

Annie Weaver paced Ontario's offense, picking up 17 kills. Weaver got some help from Morgan Pearson and her 21 assists. Sara Wharton and Peyton Vance kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Ontario's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Marion Harding, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Ontario wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Buckeye Central on the 27th. Marion Harding has also already played their next matchup (against Whitehall-Yearling), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
