Softball Recap: California Lutheran Takes a Loss

California Lutheran fell victim to United Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the C-Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

California Lutheran has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for United Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

While California Lutheran had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
