Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Omari Rampasard and Sinatra Rembert Lead Lee Central to Victory

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Lee Central's strategy against Midlands STEM Charter on Tuesday. Everything went the Lee Central Stallions' way against the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks as the Lee Central Stallions made off with a 60-38 win. The victory was nothing new for the Stallions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lee Central was led to victory by Sinatra Rembert and Omari Rampasard. Rembert went 6 for 11 to rack up 12 points and five assists, while Rampasard went 5 of 7 en route to 10 points and six rebounds. Rampasard is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Demarius Gregg, who posted eight points and six boards.

Lee Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

The win got Lee Central back to even at 12-12. As for Midlands STEM Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Looking ahead, Lee Central and C.A. Johnson will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Midlands STEM Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
