Volleyball Recap: Hermann Bearcats vs. Helias Crusaders

Hermann lost against Helias back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hermann Bearcats lost 3-0 to the Helias Crusaders. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Hermann lost, don't look at Kennedie Witthaus. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs. Witthaus is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Lauren Schroeder was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs.

Hermann now has a losing record at 14-15. As for Helias, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5-1 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when Bearcats takes on Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Hermann surely won't give up without a fight.
