Recap: Central Lions vs. Cedartown Bulldogs
The Central Lions can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Cedartown as Central made off with a 63-41 victory. The win was nothing new for Central as they're now sitting on three straight.
Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah West out in front who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. West is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Williams, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.
Central is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Cedartown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
Central will head out on the road to square off against Northwest Whitfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central is coming into the contest with four straight wins on the road, so Northwest Whitfield is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Cedartown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedartown is facing Southeast Whitfield County at the right time seeing as Southeast Whitfield County is stuck on a 18-game losing streak.
