Arygle lands on top after compiling a 71-1-1 mark over the past two seasons.

Not surprisingly, the MaxPreps National No. 1 team, the Argyle Eagles, are the No. 1 medium school baseball team in the nation, according to the MaxPreps Medium School National Baseball Rankings.

Argyle, which finished ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps Top 50 for the second straight season, plays in the Class 4A playoff division in Texas. Based on MaxPreps hierachy of large, medium and small schools, Argyle also qualifies for the national medium school rankings. Medium-sized schools are those that play in state playoff divisions that generally have between 1,000 and 2,000 students.

The Eagles edge Blanchard (Okla.), the Class 4A state champion in Oklahoma for the No. 1 overall spot. The rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings and Argyle leads Blanchard in the computer rankings 34.0 to 32.1.

Teams are listed with their overall season record and their MaxPreps computer rating. Top 50 rankings may not necessarily match the computer rankings.
