Clarksville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Dickson County Cougars with a sharp 62-41 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Clarksville to victory were Malon Smith and Shakiah Vance. Smith went 9 of 19 on her way to 19 points along with eight steals and six assists, while Vance went 8 for 15 en route to 22 points and four steals. Smith's evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Howard, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Clarksville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive matchups.

Dickson County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Coralee Grove, who put up eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jenna Saine, who scored eight points.

Clarksville's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Dickson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Clarksville will be playing at home against Rossview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dickson County has already played their next contest (against Creek Wood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
