Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Immanuel was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Washington Union on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Immanuel came up short against Arroyo Grande on Saturday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Immanuel in their meetings with Arroyo Grande: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-9.

Spencer Horn paced Immanuel's offense, picking up eight kills. Horn got some help from Tori Visser and her 18 assists.

Immanuel's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Immanuel will head out to challenge Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arroyo Grande, they will venture away from home to take on San Luis Obispo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
