Baseball Recap: Lehi Pioneers vs. Skyridge Falcons        
        
		
            
 On Wednesday, Lehi faced Skyridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lehi Pioneers lost  11-5 to the Skyridge Falcons. Lehi was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Skyridge apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  last Tuesday.
  Ozzie Williams and  Cooper Williams did some serious damage despite the final result:  Williams  went 1-for-3 with a  triple and two  RBI, while  Williams  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.  Tanner Heaps was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 On Skyridge's side,  Isaac Johanson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  5.2 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Johanson has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Johanson was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Isaac Pickle was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mckoy Morris, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Lehi's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-9. As for Skyridge, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lehi beat Skyridge by a score of  10-3.
