Wheaton Academy hadn't done well against Timothy Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Trojans 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four games in a row.

Wheaton Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Wheaton Academy pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Timothy Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11.
