Basketball Recap: Pacific Bay Christian Piles Up the Points Against Summit Preparatory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pacific Bay Christian). They blew past the Summit Preparatory Huskies 65-27 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pacific Bay Christian found their leader in sophomore Noah Jung, who went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Jung a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Strickland, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points.

Pacific Bay Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Summit Preparatory, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific Bay Christian will host Mid-Peninsula at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit Preparatory, they will take on Kehillah at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Kehillah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Summit Preparatory likes a good challenge.
