Basketball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Comes Up Short

North Raleigh Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 68-39 loss at the hands of the Greensboro Day School Bengals. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 54-38 to the Bengals when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julian Hernandez, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points. Cooper Herakovich was another key player, putting up eight points.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Greensboro Day School, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

North Raleigh Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-36 defeat against Trinity Academy on the 21st. As for Greensboro Day School, they have also already played their next matchup, an 87-41 victory against Cary Academy on the 20th.
