Baseball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

The matchup between Episcopal and Georgetown Prep on Thursday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Maroon came up short against the Little Hoyas, falling 18-1. The Maroon's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Episcopal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finn Boyle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Georgetown Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Episcopal will head out on the road to challenge Woodberry Forest at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Georgetown Prep, they will face off against Flint Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
