Football Game Preview: McNair Mustangs vs. Lamar County Trojans

The McNair Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Lamar County Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

McNair came up short against Putnam County on Friday, falling 28-6. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lamar County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 27-14 win over Westside.

Lamar County's win came from a few key players McNair will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ross Hamrick, who rushed for 29 yards and two scores.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Lamar County proved: they limited Westside to a paltry -0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Josiah Chambers for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lamar County's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.3.
