Volleyball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Takes a Loss

Saint Ignatius College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Jackson Blackwell paced Saint Ignatius College Prep's offense, picking up seven kills. Blackwell got some help from Campbell Hahn and his 18 assists.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Saint Ignatius College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Shepard on the 10th. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Sandburg on the 9th.
