Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton fell victim to Odessa and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Odessa, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will face off against Center at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Odessa, they will venture away from home to challenge Harrisonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
