Basketball Game Preview: Sherman Tide vs. St. Joseph Central Irish

Sherman is 0-3 against St. Joseph Central since December of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Sherman Tide will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Joseph Central Irish at 2:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Sherman sitting on five straight victories and St. Joseph Central on four.

Sherman is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hannan 85-47 on Monday. The Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Central didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wayne on Friday, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.

Sherman pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points over those games. As for St. Joseph Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
