Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Hiwassee Dam Eagles

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eastern Randolph had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Hiwassee Dam Eagles onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering Eastern Randolph has won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Addie Flinchum and Ayanna Mears did most of the damage at the plate: Flinchum scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Mears scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Logann Beaver, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
