Recap: Lake View Chiefs vs. Big Spring Steers
The Lake View Chiefs's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by Big Spring at home to the tune of 77-34. That looming 77-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lake View yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joseph Delgado, who scored 22 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon White, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Lake View's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-21. As for Big Spring, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-18.
Lake View will challenge Levelland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Levelland will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lake View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Big Spring, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweetwater at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
