There's no place like home for Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Triway Titans 32-29. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Triway's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Starr, who threw for 299 yards and four TDs, and Bruin Flinner, who picked up 183 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Flinner showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 57 yards.

Northwest now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Triway, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest will look to defend their home field on Friday against Canton South at 7:00 p.m. The Indians will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Triway, they will challenge Tuslaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
