A Season-Best Effort from Nate Peters Leads Camp Point Central over Carrollton

Nate Peters produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Camp Point Central to the win on Friday. Peters rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 81 yards.

Camp Point Central picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Elijah Genenbacher. Genenbacher turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 151 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, made ten total tackles, and defended two passes.

Carrollton's probably not too fond of Genenbacher given he always seems to get the better of them. Genenbacher rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Hawks duked it out back in October of 2023.
