Football Recap: Jesup Takes a Loss

Jesup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Osage Green Devils, falling 51-0. While losing is never fun, the J-Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Green Devils are ranked 69th).

Jesup's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Osage, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Jesup and Osage will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The J-Hawks will take on rival Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Osage is set to square off against their familiar foe North Fayette Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
