Basketball Recap: Cheney Tech Comes Up Short at Home Against CREC [Civic Leaderdship/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering/Metropolitan Learning Center]

Cheney Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the CREC [Civic Leaderdship/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering/Metropolitan Learning Center] Colts on Tuesday, falling 54-25. The Beavers were down 44-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hazel is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
