Baseball Recap: Deckerville Eagles vs. Kingston Cardinals

Deckerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Kingston Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Thursday.

Brayden Russell made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Evan Benjey was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.
