Basketball Recap: Albia Comes Up Short

After flying high against Davis County last Saturday, Albia came back down to earth. The Albia Blue Demons fell just short of the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs by a score of 42-39 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Demons in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Albia's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Prairie City-Monroe, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

As of now, neither Albia nor Prairie City-Monroe have any future games scheduled.
