Basketball Recap: Riverside Academy Takes a Loss

Riverside Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Castle Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 57-55 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Riverside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for White Castle, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-15 record this season.

Riverside Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-48 loss against West St. John on the 13th. As for White Castle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-48 defeat against Ascension Christian on the 14th.
