Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Academy extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 5-7. They came up short against Mars Hill Academy, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Becca Keller paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Keller got some help from Saryah Abbott and her three assists. Keller also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mackenzie Graham, racking up two apiece.

As for Mars Hill Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mary Johnson had a dynamite game, getting 19 assists and six aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Augustine, who had seven kills, five digs, and two aces.

Coming up, Christian Academy is taking a road trip to square off against CHESS Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mars Hill Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
