Baseball Recap: Davis Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Davis entered their tilt with Farmington on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Phoenix. The Darts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

Owen Talbot was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Talbot wasn't the only one making solid contact: Davis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Davis' win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for Farmington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Davis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Phoenix: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
