Yates Center posted their closest win since September 8th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Oswego Indians 2-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Yates Center got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-20.

Yates Center found their leader in sophomore Makenzi Morrison, who had seven digs and two aces.

Yates Center was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are a perfect 14-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Yates Center's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 17-10. As for Oswego, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Coincidentally, Yates Center and Oswego will both be playing St. Paul the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
