After flying high against Greater Beckley Christian on Saturday, Tygarts Valley came back down to earth. Tygarts Valley fell just short of the Shady Spring Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jaxon Drennen was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out 15 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
