Basketball Recap: Moorhead's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Moorhead and Wayzata squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Moorhead had to settle for second. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wayzata Trojans. The game marked the Spuds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Moorhead moved to 21-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points over those games. As for Wayzata, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-4.

As of now, neither Moorhead nor Wayzata have any future games scheduled.
