Basketball Recap: Timberlane Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Timberlane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coe-Brown Academy Bears. The Owls were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in January.

Timberlane's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matt Fitzgerald, who posted 12 points.

Timberlane's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Coe-Brown Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Timberlane and Coe-Brown Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Owls see the court they'll take on Goffstown at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Coe-Brown Academy, their break will end when they face Souhegan at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
