Softball Recap: Horace Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Sheyenne

Horace faced Sheyenne in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Horace fell 13-8 to Sheyenne. Horace was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sheyenne earlier this season, when they won 19-4.

Tristyn Struck led a balanced group of hitters, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Struck is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Braelynn Brown, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Horace's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Sheyenne, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
