Basketball Game Recap: Montague vs. Shelby

The Montague Wildcats won the last time they faced the Shelby Tigers, and things went their way on Friday, too. The Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 45-33 win over Shelby. That was the first win for Montague since their victory over Mason County Central two weeks ago.

Montague's senior Asher Erickson filled up the stat sheet, picking up 15 points.

Montague's win brought them up to 8-9. The loss dropped Shelby's record to 2-14.

The Wildcats are on the road again on Tuesday and play against Western Michigan Christian. Montague fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them. Shelby will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Holton.
