Soccer Recap: Macarthur Has No Trouble Against Southwest Legacy

After failing to score in their last contest, MacArthur made sure to put some goals up on the board against Southwest Legacy on Friday. They blew past the Southwest Legacy Titans 4-1. Given the Brahmas' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Titans are ranked 363rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

MacArthur pushed their record up to 7-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Southwest Legacy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-2 victory against McCollum on the 22nd. Southwest Legacy has also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Harlandale on the 21st.
