Softball Game Preview: Colony Titans vs. South Hills Huskies

The Colony Titans will square off against the South Hills Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Colony has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 19.

On Monday, Colony came up short against Los Altos and fell 4-1.

Colony saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Martinez(2028), who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, South Hills entered their matchup against Los Altos on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Huskies fell 4-1 to the Conquerors. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Abigail Quintero was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for South Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1.
