Volleyball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South lost against Advanced Math & Science Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colonels lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.

Maria Elena Lambarena-Tanaka was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and four aces.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South will square off against Assabet Valley RVT at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they will challenge Montachusett RVT at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
