Basketball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage lost against Prairie back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Heritage Timberwolves came up short against the Prairie Falcons, falling 80-59. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at Brooks Greenawald. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points. Tyrell Cash was another key player, going 7 for 15 en route to 17 points.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Prairie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Heritage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-51 win against Hockinson on the 3rd. Prairie has also already played their next contest, a 60-55 victory against Mountain View on the 4th.
